FAQ

Common questions

Research Use Only

What are ATMI Labs products intended for?+

ATMI Labs products are intended exclusively for laboratory research purposes and are not intended for human or veterinary use, consumption, or administration.

Does ATMI Labs provide dosing or medical advice?+

No. ATMI Labs does not provide medical advice, dosing recommendations, treatment protocols, or prescribing services.

Can these products be used in humans or animals?+

No. Products sold by ATMI Labs are supplied for laboratory research use only.

Where can I find Certificates of Analysis?+

Certificates of Analysis are published in the ATMI Labs Batch Testing & COA library, and each product page links to the documentation filed for its released lots. The ATMI batch ID provided with your order documentation can also be entered on the Batch Verification page.

Research Basics

What is a research compound?+

"Research compound" describes the intended use of the material rather than a chemical class: it is supplied for laboratory and analytical research only, and is not a drug, supplement, cosmetic, or food.

What does "research use only" mean?+

It means the material is offered exclusively for laboratory and analytical research. It is not intended for human or veterinary use, consumption, or administration, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition.

Where can I find research information for individual compounds?+

The ATMI Labs Research Library carries an educational overview for each priority compound, covering identity facts, how the compound is described in laboratory literature, and its research-use scope. Broader background is covered in the research guides.

How is the catalog organised?+

Compounds are grouped by the research context in which they typically appear — growth hormone, metabolic, tissue and cellular, bioenergetics, longevity and regeneration, neuroendocrine, cognitive and neuro, and research essentials. The grouping is navigational and implies nothing about comparable effects.

Quality & Documentation

What is a Certificate of Analysis?+

A Certificate of Analysis is a record of analytical results for one production lot. It documents the product, strength, lot identifier, the methods used, and the identity and purity results measured on that lot. It is not a safety assessment or an approval.

Is there a COA for every product?+

Every verified batch has a downloadable COA. Batches still in testing are listed as COA Pending until documentation is published; a report from a different lot is never substituted.

How are ATMI Labs compounds tested?+

ATMI Labs maintains batch-specific analytical testing and Certificates of Analysis for the research compounds we distribute. Available documentation may include purity, content/identity, endotoxin testing, and independent laboratory reports depending on the applicable production batch. Testing records are made available through our Batch Testing & COA Library when documentation is available.

Are all ATMI Labs products third-party tested?+

Independent laboratory testing is identified when an applicable independent report is available for the specific production batch. ATMI Labs does not apply a blanket third-party-testing claim to products without the corresponding documentation. All available batch testing and COA records are presented transparently through our testing library.

What information does ATMI Labs provide about testing?+

ATMI Labs publishes the documentation supplied for each production batch. Depending on the report, this may include identity, content, purity, endotoxin, and other analytical information, along with the laboratory name and report date. Only values actually contained in the supplied documentation are shown.

Is testing performed by an independent laboratory?+

Independent laboratory reports are supplied with some production batches. Where such a report exists for the exact batch, it is published with that batch record and identified by the laboratory named on the report. Batches without an independent report are not described as third-party tested.

How can a batch be verified?+

Enter the ATMI batch ID provided with your order documentation on the Batch Verification page — batch IDs use the format ATMI-CODE-YYMMDD-A. Saved batch IDs are also listed with each order in your account. If you cannot locate it, contact support@atmilabs.com with your order number.

Ordering & Shipping

How fast do orders ship?+

Orders placed before 2:00 PM Arizona time Monday–Friday are generally processed the same business day; orders placed after cutoff, on weekends, or on carrier holidays are processed the next business day. Orders ship with standard tracked shipping, and tracking is provided once the order ships.

Do you ship internationally?+

We currently ship within the United States only.

What is the return policy?+

Unopened products in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days. Contact support first.

Handling & Storage

Are these products for human use?+

No. All ATMI Labs research compounds are strictly for laboratory research and are not for human consumption.

What does lyophilized mean?+

Lyophilization, or freeze-drying, removes solvent from a frozen sample by sublimation under reduced pressure, leaving a dry solid in the vial. Appearance of the resulting cake varies with fill volume and drying conditions and is not itself an analytical indicator.

How should research compounds be stored?+

Lyophilized: 2–8°C desiccated, protected from light. Solubility and stability characteristics for each sequence are documented in the batch COA, and handling procedures are set by the receiving laboratory's own written protocol.
